Celebrating the diversity of the LGBTIQ2+ Community

Welcome to Nanaimo’s LGBTIQ2+

Community Choir

Are you looking for somewhere to sing some of your favourite songs and meet new friends?
Perhaps do an occasional public concert, or program and generally just have a lot of fun.
Then you’ve found the right choir!

We encourage all singing abilities to come out and sing with us!

It’s guaranteed to be a good time for all!

As in any great dance move, taking a step back is as important as stepping and moving on forward. AVIVA Chorus is moving forward with a new practice time, new Music Director, and Accompanist (Kris Epps).

To recharge, realign, re-emerge, re-energize and restart with previous and new members, AVIVA will be taking a step back to start again on September 10th.

AVIVA’s inclusive voices will once again be happily heard, as we spring ahead to the fall. Let us all move forward with good health, happiness, and a song in our hearts.

Hope to see you soon!

The AVIVA Chorus, is a non for profit registered charity, we relay solely on the generosity of people like you. Should you feel inclined to donate to our wonderful chorus by means of a cash donation, volunteering, filling our seats with your presence or by joining our diverse and talented chorus, your help is greatly appreciated. Any donations over 20$ will receive a tax receipt. Our charity of choice this year is Generation Q.  They are an amazing group that provides a safe space for Nanaimo’s LGBTIQ2+ Youth community.
